The BIGGEST LIE You've Been Told About Money is that it doesn't grow on TREES!!
Snowball is TOTALLY STUPID. JUST like DAVE!!!
Thank you for the content😘 Investing was a leap into the unknown for me, especially under the weight of personal stress and my mother's health issues. But with Jennifer's T Stones guidance, I opened a trading account and invested $3,000. The decision was fraught with anxiety, but Jennifer's support was unwavering. Within just five days, the results were more than I could have ever hoped for. My initial trepidation turned into unbounded joy, providing not just financial relief but also a sense of empowerment.
Hi I am using avalanche seems taking forever but my income is not high so happy it’s headed downward
For those wondering, he didn't teach ANYTHING at all
I literally spent an hour finding your channel, I haven’t watched your videos for 4 years!
Plan 1st Pay myself Budget An save ER fund Save for investing.
First off, the belief that the Federal Reserve would stop raising interest rates was the driving force behind the entire economic chaos. What should we do now that we have a situation where interest rates are crashing? At this point, how would you suggest that I safely allocate $300k?
Although the market is currently volatile, aren't the current valuations a result of the Federal Reserve's monetary policy and low interest rates? Therefore, my recommendation is that you consult a financial advisor who can give you entry and exit points for the shares or ETF that you are interested in.
Agreed, my portfolio is well-matched for every market season yielding 85% from early last year to date. I and my CFP are working on a 7 figure ballpark goal, tho this could take another year. IMO, financial advisors are the most sought-after professionals after doctors.
How can I participate in this? I sincerely aspire to establish a secure financlal future and am eager to participate. Who is the driving force behind your success?
“Sharon Lee Peoples” is a leading asset-manager in the industry. You should take a closer look on her page.
Her name is “Sharon Lee Peoples” can't divulge much. Most likely, the internet should have her basic info, you can research if you like
The cheque i cut the government on my propertirs and kinvestments are seriously eating into my project bufgets. It would hurt less if I received value for my taxes but healthcare still isn't cheap, my children's college tuition costs a small fortune, and my husband and I still have retirement to plan for. Right now the only solutioniwe see is to scale up my profits and with our limited knowledge, we are at a loss on how to do that.
The stock market is unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Strategists have been aiding folks in recording gains over 250k just in a matter of months, so I think there are alot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you have someone who knows where to look like i do.
One of my goals is to employ the service of an asset-manager this year. I've seen some off social media but wasn't able to get a response. Could you recommend one?
Don't be hesitant to contact SSharon Lee Peoples and follow her directions.
I searched her full name online and found her webpage. I emailed to make an appointment to talk with her; hopefully, she gets back to me.
I just looked her up on the web and I would say she really has an impressive background in investing. I will write her an email shortly.
I started investing in a retirement fund with my taxable account. I used the buy and hold strategy in my Roth, adding some Berkshire B stock, SCHD, and an S&P 500 and total market exchange-traded fund.
Exactly, a good number of people discredit the effectiveness of financial advisor, but over the past 10years, I’ve had a financial advisor consistently restructure and diversify my portfolio/expenses and I’ve made over $3million in gains… might not be a lot but i'm financially secure and that's fine by me.

Please who is the consultant that assist you with your investment and if you don't mind, how do I get in touch if you don't mind
I have “Sharon Lee Peoples” as my investment manager. She has a solid reputation when it comes to diversifying portfolios and making. Them less vulnerable to market downturns. She may be a name you are already familiar with from Newsweek.
I just googled her and I'm really impressed with her credentials; I reached out to her since I need all the assistance I can get. I just scheduled a caII.
I’d say I’m a mix between an investor and an optimizer…not so much a hustler.
Snowball is COMPLETELY STUPID!!!!
Housing
They are viable long term. Just have to do some risk management. I currently use a trailing stop loss order of 15%, DCA back into it and move my full amount back in after the price crosses above the 50 day EMA.
Somebody finally get it
The 4 communication styles can be effective in the workplace if executed properly !fk
Love this realistic scenario of having "just" $500k in retirement accounts.
I like the idea of the 4% rule with a 100% total market index fund, but starting with a *three* years cash buffer of your projected cash need -- the amount of cash needed after Social Security and pensions. If the market craters, you don't do your annual liquidation from equity to cash until the market has recovered. You'd have at least two years for the market to recover. Perhaps the buffer should be four years, or liquidations done on a quarterly basis, if the market cooperates. Hmm.
Having some sort of buffer can definitely help in those times!
I'm thrilled that you have posted another video.
Thanks, Bruce!
When you lead off a video with a Thomas Sowell quote you know it's going to be a good one
This is intro to econ, lecture one. Everywhere you look, the name of the game is opportunity cost.
Having started late, I guess one of the ways to pick a strategy is the age, hence time horizon of the person. The target retirement age. And the current financial position.
Laughter is Life.👌🏻😅
In this example, since Bucket 2 is being depleted annually to fill Bucket 1, when is Bucket 3 used to replenish Bucket 2?
I've seen other explanations of the 3 bucket strategy where the 3rd bucket is invested in dividend-paying stocks. There is, for example, a Vanguard high-dividend stock that pay 2.8%. So that $520K bucket, in this example, would produce $14,560. Both Buckets 2 and 3 are used to replenish Bucket 1.
The example starting at 6:10 misrepresents the 4% Rule. The original 4% Rule (as Bengen described it) requires that you have 40% in fixed income and 60% in equities, and it does NOT specify where to pull the money from. So if the stock market drops 50% in first year, a retiree would pull from the fixed income portion. ANd because the 4% Rule require rebalancing, there is a need to use the Fixed Income portion of the portfolio to buy equities so that the portfolio is back to 60/40. This is exactly what you would want - buy equities when they are low.
How did you calculate the interest and dividends ($33,209) in the "Avoid the 4 rule" part? Which formula did you use?
Thrifty
Can you do a video on SQQQ? That would be awesome!😎
You put the DEEP in Deepdive 😮
Great video!
Do either one, but do it! Only the action counts.
Go use the time to time the market to do productive work and increase income for more dough to invest. Beats timing it like a full timer would.
This guy must think fine art galleries are used for selling fine art.
RMDs increase every year. No one seems to address this in portfolio draw downs
In 7 to 9 yrs Social Security will b cut back 25% so im getting myself in the habit of living on 25% less. I get $963 so I'm trying to live on bout $735 mo. N I get 99 food stamps so I set aside 24 for store om sales loss leaders etc. The $200 I put towards my highest % debts then once they're eliminated in December I'll apply it to the principal of my mortgage.
Amazing.
4% is calculated using only 30 year span and only produced a 95% success. The actual safe withdraw rate is 3% or below
I might have to disagree with you there. Lots of variables to calculate what is your basis for that statement such as asset allocation and are you allowing for inflation adjustments, guardrails etc? What study are you basing this off of?
Also if you look at Bengen’s paper he suggests that many scenarios succeed well beyond 30 years.
The working overtime works well in youth (usually) because you have more energy, better health and fewer time constraints. Though this plan works when you are older, it works best at ages 18-24.
The underlying problem is that the interest continues to accrue while you are working on these payments. The math used in the example is simplified in several places for example purposes, but the result will always be the same--getting rid of the highest interest first will result in a faster pay off IF you stick to it. If you need the "feel good" of completing something faster, finishing later is better than not finishing at all.
I enjoy doing automatic and comprehensive budgeting. It's not easy to keep up with no budgeting experience , but for intermediate and advanced budgeting it's a great way to do it.
#33 brought me here
This has to be Andy from marriage kids and money😂
Really valuable video thanks 🕶️
your buying power will also be affected if your nest egg runs out..
Thus the point of the guardrails which is to mitigate this
Reason #4: and yet Wareen Buffett doesn't drive fancy car despite he's one of the living richest man on earth
I live this video. Watched it so many times. Thanks very much for this info. They should teach this at school
In the first example they bought cars twice but not the second. So not apples to apples
Some great valuable tips - understanding the tax laws is key to keeping more of your money.
market drops are more of a "push" to buy maybe more or be motivated knowing you're getting more shares of the quality asset/stock, rather than thinking of actually timing it. Just accumulate quality assets for the long term.
